Meet the Minds Behind zantharovilex

We're educators first, finance professionals second. Our team brings together decades of real-world experience with a genuine passion for teaching complex financial concepts in ways that actually make sense.

How We Started Teaching Differently

Back in 2019, I was sitting in yet another corporate training session watching colleagues struggle with financial modeling concepts that seemed deliberately overcomplicated. The instructor used jargon-heavy slides while participants stared blankly at their screens.

That's when it hit me — most financial education assumes you already speak the language. We decided to build something different: courses that start from where people actually are, not where textbooks think they should be. It took us three years to develop our first proper curriculum, testing everything with real students who weren't afraid to tell us when something didn't click.

Today, we're proud to offer courses starting September 2025 that reflect this hands-on, jargon-free approach to financial modeling education.

Our Teaching Team

Each instructor brings something unique to the table. What they share is an obsession with making complex financial concepts accessible and a track record of helping students actually apply what they learn.

Celeste Hartwell, Lead Financial Modeling Instructor

Celeste Hartwell

Lead Financial Modeling Instructor

Celeste spent eight years building financial models for mining companies before realizing she preferred explaining the 'why' behind the numbers rather than just crunching them. She has this knack for spotting exactly where students get stuck and breaking down problems into manageable pieces. Her background includes equity valuations for three major Australian firms and a brief stint in investment banking that she describes as "educational but exhausting."

Briony Ashford, Data Analytics Specialist

Briony Ashford

Data Analytics Specialist

Briony bridges the gap between traditional finance and modern data science. She worked as a quantitative analyst for a Sydney-based hedge fund before joining our team in late 2024. What sets her apart is her ability to teach statistical concepts without drowning students in mathematical theory. She's particularly good at helping people understand when to trust their models and when to question them.

What Drives Our Teaching

Start Where You Are

We don't assume prior knowledge. Whether you're coming from accounting, engineering, or completely outside finance, our courses meet you at your current skill level.

Real-World Context

Every model we teach has been used in actual business decisions. You'll work with the same types of data and constraints you'll encounter in your career.

Question Everything

Good financial modeling isn't about following formulas blindly. We teach you to challenge assumptions, test scenarios, and understand the limitations of your models.
